Oct 3 Shading a Lamp Shade: Hacking the IKEA REGOLIT for a More Stylish Lighting

Just how much art could you make? And just how much hacking can IKEA products take? The answer to the latter really depends on your imagination. Katty must have an endless stream of imagination juices flowing because she managed to make the already good looking REGOLIT pendant lamp shade great.

Like a school project, customizing a lamp shade can be done with a bit of paint, ink, and glitter. We can make use of the whole MALA collection for this art. We can also use stamps to design a barren pendant lamp shade. You can then place your newly designed lamp shade to our plethora of pendant lamps.
